Billy possesses extensive multi-sector experience, having served in the military, worked in security operations within the oil and gas industry, and gained expertise in the construction sector, where he has obtained Chartered Construction Manager status with the CIOB. His most recent work over the past eight years has focused on the critical field of fire safety.
As a site manager, Billy was involved in one of the very first facade remediation projects after the Grenfell disaster. He has since become a passionate advocate for “Building a Safer Future,” which aims to raise the construction industry’s quality standards.
Billy is currently serving as a Principal Consultant within the UK’s External Wall division, specialising in fire risk assessments, internal compartmentation surveys, fire safety quality assurance, and building safety in high-risk residential buildings.
