A proud Biripi and Worimi descendant from the Cook and Syron families of the Mid North Coast of New South Wales, Michael is uniquely distinguished as the only Aboriginal Quantity Surveyor to hold Fellowships with both the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AIQS) and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
Throughout his career, Michael has dedicated himself to creating opportunities for First Nations peoples, an ongoing commitment evident across his professional roles as well as through extensive volunteer work and mentoring initiatives.
