When we started AESG close to fifteen years ago, we were driven by a belief that there was a better way to approach the built and urban environment — one rooted in technical excellence, sustainability, and a deep sense of purpose. That vision has taken us from a regional specialist to a global force operating across five continents.

But every phase of growth brings new challenges. Entering new markets means navigating new dynamics, cultures, and complexities. That’s why the role of independent, experienced leadership at the board level becomes so vital.

As we continue our expansion across the globe — most recently into Cape Town, Cairo, and Melbourne — the establishment of a board comprising some of the industry’s most respected leaders is both timely and essential. Our growth has been rapid but never reckless. We’ve always believed in balancing bold ambition with grounded, values-led leadership — and that’s exactly what this board will help us uphold.

Why This Matters Now

Kez and Roger are individuals I have known, worked with and respected for many years, not just for what they have achieved, but for how they have done it. They have led transformational first of its kind projects, built world- class businesses, and consistently pushed boundaries in engineering, design, and delivery. More importantly, they have done so with integrity, humility, and a commitment to meaningful impact — values that deeply resonate with us at AESG.

With Kez and Roger alongside Scott Coombes, Adam Muggleton, and myself, I believe we now have the right mix of experience, energy, and perspective to guide AESG through this next chapter.

Each member of the board brings a wealth of knowledge and fresh perspectives from diverse sectors, including sustainable development, engineering, and advisory services. Importantly, each member has extensive experience in building and scaling successful organisations—from leading high-growth companies to advising businesses through periods of transformation and expansion.
