As signatories to World Green Building Council, AESG is committed to supporting the public and private sector to reach global Net Zero Carbon Emission targets.

Governments around the world attesting to the COP21 Paris Agreement are collectively working towards maintaining global warming below 2^oC, in line with the recommendations of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. This, along with the evident global climate change effects, have pushed governments around the world to develop long term greenhouse gas emission strategies and climate change adaptation plans. Many government initiatives across several sectors such as the built environment, transportation and industries have been developed and implemented in the ultimate aim to manage and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Existing built assets pose a major challenge to the net zero agenda, in many cases requiring deep retrofits in order to meet zero carbon performance criteria. AESG’s energy team can provide engineering and advisory services to develop efficient decarbonisation strategies at a building, estate and portfolio level. Our suite of services includes the establishment of baseline performance through energy auditing, identification of recommended retrofit activities and development of decarbonisation investment strategies.
