Dubai DSM Program Development


AESG has been appointed by the Dubai Regulatory Supervisory Bureau (RSB) to provide sustainability consultancy services for the development of a Building Rating Scheme in Dubai.

Dubai is considering the application of a Building Rating Scheme capable of communicating to building occupants and owners how the building is performing with regards to energy and water as compared to other buildings of similar typology. The scheme will form part of the Demand Side Management (DSM) program developed by the Dubai Supreme Council of Energy (DSCE) and contribute towards the Dubai vision of 30% energy reduction by 2030.

AESG has partnered with Energy Action and Cluttons to form a consortium for the completion of the Project. AESG, as well as offering extensive technical expertise and local knowledge, are managing and driving the project. Energy Action are subject matter experts in Building Rating Schemes, having assisted in the development of the Australian Building Rating Scheme NABERS, and thus enhance the specialist technical expertise of the team. Cluttons, one of Dubai’s most experienced real estate professional service providers, complete the team providing expert knowledge of the local real estate market.
