Expo 2020 Opportunity Pavilion

The Opportunity Pavilion is one of three thematic pavilions at the Expo 2020 Dubai. Key sustainability features within the pavilion are reduction of water and energy consumption, and recyclable locally sourced sustainable materials.
The construction includes the use of low-embodied carbon materials, such as structural timber. The Pavilion itself is constructed from recyclable, locally sourced materials including stone gabions from local mountains. These are also integrated into the landscape design as well as a plant palette of 100% native and adaptive plant species. The Opportunity also features a roof garden and plenty of interactions with landscape and technology for the visitors. AESG are proud to be part of the team for Opportunity pavilion, contributing towards the aspirational sustainability vision of EXPO 2020.
