The Red Sea Development Company (RSD) proposes to develop a tourism-centred facility within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) between Umluj and Al Waj in the Western Province. The airport will consist of a single runway of approximately 3.3km, associated terminal facilities and aircraft handling for an estimated 300,000- 500,000 passengers per year as an initial phase and up to 3 million per annum at full operation.
