The UAE Pavilion represents the country to the 25 million visitors expected to visit the UAE for Expo 2020. The Pavilion is being designed by world-renowned architect, Santiago Calatrava who beat competition from eight of the world’s leading firms, with eleven designs submitted. Inspired by a falcon in flight, the building will directly face the Al Wasl Plaza in the 200 hectare exhibition zone and will cover around 15,000 square metres and include VIP lounges, exhibition areas, and F&B outlets. The building is designed to be one of the Expo’s greatest icons and embodies complex sustainable technologies throughout.
