Jarryd Terblanche

Jarryd Terblanche is a Senior Associate Director at AESG within the cost management division, where he is responsible for setting up cost management procedures and processes tailored to clients’ financial needs, to ensure the successful delivery of projects. Jarryd’s experience includes the successful delivery of a number of prestigious projects
throughout the Middle East and Africa specializing in commercial, mixed-use, hospitality and data center sectors, Jarryd’s involvement includes executive support throughout our UAE and South Africa teams. He is also our key point of contact for maintaining existing client relations and driving new wins to exceed revenue targets.

With over 10 years of experience across the Middle East and Africa in delivering high profile projects, Jarryd holds a bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying from Nelson Mandela University. Jarryd is an MRICS accredited Quantity Surveyor through the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and is a PrQS through the South African Council for the
Quantity Surveying Profession (SACQSP). Jarryd has been integral in overseeing and mentoring a number of candidates to achieve their APC.

Jarryd is passionate about early cost optioneering and proactive cost planning early in the design stages and always providing a clear pathway back to budget to ensure the client’s financial targets are achieved at the outset of the project and closely controlled through implementing robust change control processes to ensure the project is delivered in
accordance with the client’s set budget.
