Niyaz Ahmed Qureshi

Niyaz is a competent professional with 22 years of Civil Engineering experience in the pre- and post-contract areas of Project Management and Controls, Contract Administration, Quantity Surveying and Cost Control, Techno Commercial Operations, and Relationship Management. He possesses comprehensive experience managing civil and mechanical construction costs by accurately measuring the work required using CESSM and POM(I), and applying expert knowledge of costs and prices of work, technical and commercial submissions, and preparing RFPs and ITTs.

He brings diverse experience in FIDIC and traditional-based contracts, including analysis, post-contractual servicing, budgeting, extension of time issues, identifying work scope ambiguities and discrepancies in schedules, and handling the identification, negotiation, and resolution of claims. He is adept at managing change orders and additional works claims, attending client meetings, internal meetings, and monthly financial presentation meetings. He is experienced in preparing and securing approval for monthly client progress invoices, weekly and monthly project-oriented reports, as well as project claims and notifications such as delay event claims, damage claims, change orders, and additional works.

Niyaz has led the project procurement team in addressing material indenting and budget concerns, while effectively tracking material progress and site arrivals. He demonstrates strong negotiation and analytical skills with the ability to network effortlessly with stakeholders in both Indian and international environments.
