Simon Whitehouse is a preeminent figure in the security sector, bringing to AESG a legacy of leadership as the founder of SGW, recently acquired by AESG. With a career spanning over 37 years, he has specialised in security engineering and management, and now leads AESG’s consulting team from the UK and Dubai offices, focusing on security master planning and engineering services.
His renowned expertise is certified by his credentials as a Chartered Security Professional (CSyP), Fellow of the Security Institute (FSyI), Certified Protection Professional (CPP), and Physical Security Professional (PSP).
In Dubai, his authority is further recognised by a SIRA Security Consultant licence and his status as a SABRE Registered Assessor.
Simon’s role in shaping the security industry is marked by his previous leadership positions, including serving as a Director of the Association of Security Consultants and a Director at The Security Institute, where he was instrumental in international development and represented the institute on the board of The Register of Chartered Security Professionals.
