The Grand Marina Intercontinental Hotel is being built as an addition to the existing Intercontinental Hotel in Al Bateen area, Abu Dhabi. The five-star development consists of a 200-key hotel with various facilities and F&B outlets.
AESG was appointed as the waste management consultant on the hotel, to ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi standards as well as the 2 Pearl Estidama strategy.
A comprehensive waste management strategy was proposed and finalized, taking into account multiple streams of waste generated in the building, as well as strategies for management and effective disposal of each.
