Ana Gabriela Conjares

Ana is Senior Associate Environmental Consultant at AESG. As an experienced leader in the management of environmental impact assessments, permitting, regulatory compliance, and monitoring (with 72 projects completed so far in 11 years) for projects predominantly in the power (both thermal and renewable: hydropower and onshore and offshore wind projects) industry, telecommunications (submarine and land installation), river and coastal dredging, reclamation, and water supply (through dam and river diversion).

Her impact assessment experience in the Middle East covers complying with environmental authorities in the United Arab Emirates with authorities like Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi (EAD), Dubai
Municipality, Trakhees, and authorities in Saudi Arabia like the National Center for Environmental Compliance (NCEC), Royal Commission for Al Ula (RCU) and NEOM for wastewater treatment, masterplan, tourism, and mixed-use development projects.

Her focus on environmental practice covers impact assessment, with key roles in leading and integrating multidisciplinary environmental and social impact assessments for planned and existing development activities. Her project experience is not limited to Philippines and Middle East regulatory compliance, she has also prepared ESIAs that meet the requirements of international environmental and social performance standards such as Equator Principles, IFC Performance Standards, and WB EHS Guidelines.

Ana has a strong record in crafting winning proposals tailored to clients’ needs, is adept at understanding and addressing RFP requirements, and manages cross-functional teams, whilst ensuring compliance.
