Mia is Associate Director – Environment at AESG and has been in the environmental field for over 11 years. During her work experience, Mia has been involved in conducting, managing, and leading a team in the preparation and review of Environmental and Social Impact Assessments, Construction Environmental Management Plans, Infrastructure Strategies, Environmental Consideration, and Environmental Site Assessment Reports, for various projects in the Middle East (specifically KSA) and Africa.
As part of her field work experience, Mia was assigned as an environmental and social consultant for a World Bank funded site supervision project ensuring compliance with IFC standards, as well as handled other responsibilities that covered terrestrial and marine baseline ecological surveys in the Middle East region.
As well as her professional experience, Mia has also participated in various conferences and trainings such as but not limited to World Bank trainings on Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental and Social Safeguard Policies, and NORAD training on preparation and review of SEA and EIA for oil and gas sector.
