Al Maryah Central

Al Maryah Central is a 3.1M sqft new mixed-use development located on Al Maryah Island in Abu Dhabi. Designed as a multi-level vertical retail experience, Al Maryah Central is organized around a central grand plaza with major department stores located at the north and south ends. There is a unique, open-air, rooftop food hall, over 145 dining options, a multi-screen cinema, a health club, a food market, a children’s entertainment centre and rooftop parks with an outdoor amphitheatre.

AESG were appointed as the commissioning manager on the project with a full time team on site.  Responsibilities include:

• Commissioning Management of all MEP systems
• Verification and validation of commissioning of all MEP systems
• Commissionability reviews
• Material submittal reviews
• Developing network analysis
• Preparing and managing the commissioning program
• Witnessing and guiding all commissioning activities
• Air Tightness Testing
• Set up O&M and Asset Register formats with the project team
• Created compliant documents using Data+ (Springboard)
• Managed and supported full handover documentation
