Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Global Payroll Administrator to join our Finance Team in Cape Town. The Global Payroll Administrator is responsible for ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely payroll processing across multiple countries. This role requires a detailed-oriented professional with expertise in payroll systems, international regulations, and the ability to collaborate with local HR, finance teams, and third-party payroll providers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage end-to-end payroll processing for employees in multiple countries
• Ensure payroll accuracy by verifying employee data, timesheets, benefits, and tax compliance

• Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner

• Maintain compliance with local and international payroll regulations
• Prepare and submit statutory reports such as tax filings, social security, and labor reports

• Stay updated on changes to global payroll laws and regulations

• Work with our local accounting partners in each payroll region to resolve payroll queries if any
• Work with HR and IT teams to ensure payroll systems are up-to-date and optimized
• Manage integrations between payroll systems and other platforms (e.g., ERP, HRIS)
• Support audits and provide necessary payroll documentation

Essential Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 10 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably in a global or multinational environment
• Proficiency in payroll systems (e.g., ADP, SAP, Workday, Payspace)
• Strong knowledge of global payroll regulations and tax compliance
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with ERP systems is a plus

• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or equivalent

• Global Payroll Management Certificate or similar.
• Good time management skills - deadline driven
