Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Cost Manager with a strong background in pre-contract services, particularly in benchmarking, cost planning, and procurement strategy, complemented by robust post-contract management capabilities. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting clients with cost certainty, value optimization, and commercial leadership within complex construction or infrastructure projects. The role will be based in Riyadh, KSA. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day management of cost management activities including project delivery, forecasting, invoicing and resource management.
  • Deliver cost management services including preparation of cost estimates, cost reporting, tender documentation, contract administration, claims review and final accounts.
  • Providing accurate cost advice and reporting to our clients.
  • Pipeline and invoicing management for Cost Management projects under your management.
  • Independently manage and resolve complex project issues.
  • Lead project management function AESG-wise (internal AESG project management NOT client project management)
  • Lead and implement AESG business development within the sector of expertise.
  • Contribute to the commercial success and stability of the cost management division.
  • Prepare and support bid pricing, negotiation, and proposal submissions if required.
  • Delivering projects, commissions and professional assignments.
  • Assuming a leading role in setting objectives and priorities, working as a proactive team player.
  • Maintaining effective communication to ensure all information is available for the successful completion of projects, liaising with other managers to ensure efficient financial control.
  • Undertaking cost management services with limited supervision.
  • Delivering all work outputs in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Support development of procedures to improve division function and efficiency.
  • Employee development and performance evaluation for direct employees.

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • 10+ years of relevant professional experience in cost management and procurement.
    • BSc in Quantity Surveying, Procurement, or a related field is required.
    • RICS qualification or active RICS training is preferred but not essential.
    • Strong team collaboration and stakeholder liaison capabilities.
    • Strong knowledge of procurement, tendering, and contract management in construction or infrastructure environments.
