Job Description

The position of Senior Technical Specialist focuses on supporting and developing workplace environments using Microsoft 365 technologies, collaboration tools, endpoint management solutions, and digital transformation approaches. This role is responsible for the deployment, management, and optimization of workplace solutions to support productivity, mobility, and security throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain Microsoft 365 services including Intune, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Entra ID (Azure AD)
  • Lead projects related to device management, application deployment and remote work enablement
  • Implement technologies such as Windows Autopilot, Microsoft Defender and conditional access policies
  • Ensure solutions meet enterprise standards and regulatory requirements 
  • Set up dashboards and alerts to monitor system health, usage, and compliance. Oversee incident response to maintain user experience and system integrity
  • Develop and uphold governance policies in areas such as data protection, identity management, and access control
  • Track and measure system and network performance
  • Develop PowerShell scripts and automation workflows to streamline operations and improve efficiency
  • Act as a technical escalation point for Level I and II engineers, providing mentorship and advanced troubleshooting
  • Provide technical support to all employees
  • Collaborate with business units to translate needs into technical solutions

  • Assess emerging workplace technologies to enhance employee digital experience

Essential Skills:

  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure AD (Entra ID), Windows 10/11, Endpoint Manager (Intune), Autopilot, Conditional Access policies, and Group Policy
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and configuration tasks
  • Strong understanding of identity and access management, including single sign-on and multifactor authentication
  • Minimum 5 years in IT infrastructure or workplace engineering
  • Proven track record in Microsoft 365 administration and enterprise collaboration technologies
  • At least 2 years in a senior or lead technical role
  • Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or equivalent preferred
