Air quality assessments are a requirement of many local and national planning authorities, in order to establish the existing local air quality and to ensure that further development does result in a negative impact, or where possible further enhances existing air quality conditions.
AESG conduct air quality assessments in accordance with planning requirements, either in isolation or as part of a wider coordinated Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA). Our environmental experts propose practical solutions to mitigate any negative impacts to air quality, and identify opportunities to further enhance the existing environment through development activities.
